Description
A VORTAB 90° elbow replacement that reduces disturbances from upstream piping, providing flow conditioning where straight-run space is limited.
Installation and specifications
- Requires three pipe diameters of straight run between the conditioner and meter.
- Standard sizes 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 inches; other sizes available.
- Schedule 40 or 80 and custom schedules.
- Weld ends, flanges up to 600 lb rating, or male NPT through 4-inch sizes.
- 316L stainless steel, carbon steel, Hastelloy C, and other materials for compatible gases, liquids, and slurries.
Applications
- Flow-meter accuracy, pump efficiency, noise reduction, calibration benches, and conditioning for blowers, compressors, and burners.
