A 316 stainless-steel back-pressure relief valve that regulates upstream pressure for analytical sample measurements.
Operation
- The valve opens further as pressure rises and reduces its flow opening as upstream pressure falls to maintain the adjusted pressure.
- A shared sample source can serve redundant analyzers while individual analyzers are isolated without changing conditions at the others.
- Regulation requires pressure above the adjustment point; below that point the valve cannot maintain the set pressure.
Construction and applications
- ¼-inch NPT process connections.
- Suitable configurations for elevated pressure and temperature.
- Steam/water analysis, grab sampling, and boiler blowdown.
- Available separately or as part of a sample-conditioning panel.
