Description
Insertion thermal mass flow meters for biogas, digester gas, landfill gas, methane, natural gas, air, and nitrogen. Constant-power sensing provides a mild drying effect useful in moist gas service.
Versions and outputs
- Both versions provide dual 4–20 mA outputs and a 500 Hz pulse output.
- ST51A adds HART or Modbus, a higher temperature rating, and SIL 1 compliance.
- Integral and remote electronics options; manufacturer lists Division 1/Zone 1 configurations.
Selected specifications
- For 2½–24-inch pipes; flow range 0.3–400 sfps.
- Turndown up to 100:1 and ±0.5% reading repeatability.
- Standard accuracy: ±2% reading plus ±0.5% full scale; optional ±1% reading plus ±0.5% full scale.
- Process temperature to 250°F for ST51 and 350°F for ST51A, subject to configuration.
Applications
- Biogas recovery, wastewater digesters, landfill gas, coal-mine methane, and compressed-air totalization.
